In addition to the Recommended Devices, below is a curated list of devices for more advanced users with more technological expertise. While these devices aren’t necessarily the easiest to implement, they are highly recommended due to their additional reliability, features, cost savings, or complex situations they can solve in your smart short term rental property.

UniFi Devices

Our first category are part of one single ecosystem of products, the Unifi system by Ubiquiti. The UniFi system consists of advanced (and incredibly reliable) networking equipment, camera equipment, and multi-unit door controls. Advanced thermostats

For more complex HVAC requirements, we have some thermostat devices we would recommend. One thermostat for a central system is easiest, but if you have systems with zones or independent units, you may need to use some of these options to get smart control of the temperature at your property.
