The Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave DC Signal Sensor ZEN55 is a great device that can be added to any hardwired smoke alarm system in a home and make the system “smart.” By connecting the device directly to the smoke alarm system, it will work reliably and alert you directly when the smoke or CO alarms are triggered at your property.

Obviously, if you don’t have a hardwired smoke alarm system at your property, this device won’t work for you. But if your home is already wired and outfitted with hardwired alarms, this is a great addition to get notifications and alerts if smoke or CO is detected.
